Meet Team TAPBPR.

 Jack Morley, BSc

Jack joined the lab in October 2021 as a PhD student, in which he is focusing on exploiting TAPBPR for therapeutic use.

Prior to joining the Boyle lab, Jack completed his BSc in Biochemistry at King's College London where, under the supervision of Dr Julien Bergeron, he developed a computational tool to analyse the effects of mutations within the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein on both ACE2 and antibody binding free energy. Jack was also a part of the KCL iGEM team of 2019, during which he aimed to provide a platform for increasing viral vector capacity for use in gene therapy through the manipulation of viral gene expression by engineered sRNAs. Having been awarded the King's Undergraduate Research Fellowship and King's Experience Research Award, Jack continued developing these molecular constructs to manipulate viral gene expression.
