Aure completed a BA in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, where she specialised in Pathology. She completed her Bachelor’s thesis in the lab of Professor Ken Smith under the supervision of Dr Rachael Bashford-Rogers.

Aure then started her graduate studies as part of the Wellcome Trust 4-year Infection, Immunity and Inflammation programme. During the first year of the programme she completed a Master of Research degree in Medical Sciences in the Boyle lab, as well as the labs of Dr Suzanne Turner (Department of Pathology) and Dr Mark Wills (Department of Medicine).

Aure started her PhD in the Boyle lab in October 2019. Her project focussed on the role polymorphisms in MHC-I play in its interaction with TAPBPR.

In April 2023, Aure started as a postdoc with Prof Persephone Borrow at the Oxford Center for Immuno-Oncology.
