Ananya Hariharan, PhD
Ananya received her Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology in Warangal, India. She then went on to complete an MRes degree in Cancer Biology at Imperial College London. During her undergraduate and masters studies, Ananya gained research experience working on different aspects of cancer biology and cell signalling.
In 2018, Ananya started her PhD at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, where she worked on understanding the effects of RNA editing on mesothelioma development, chemoresistance, and tumour microenvironment.
She joined the Boyle lab in April 2024 as a postdoctoral research associate and is excited to unravel TAPBPR function and its therapeutic use.
